Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Provide courteous and professional service at all times.
- Handle guest and staff concerns politely and efficiently, and report issues when needed.
- Maintain good relationships with guests and colleagues.
Operational
- Follow company brand standards.
- Work closely with team members to support hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
- Wash, peel, cut, and prepare fruits and vegetables.
- Clean and prepare meat, poultry, and seafood.
- Bread food items using crumbs, flour, or batter.
- Prepare soups and sauces.
- Measure and weigh ingredients.
- Carry food trays, pans, and kitchen items safely.
- Store food properly.
- Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils; dispose of garbage properly.
- Distribute supplies and kitchen equipment.
- Carve cooked meats.
- Assist with food quality control.
- Help set up buffet displays.
Personnel
- Follow company values and support Hyatt goals and standards.
Other Duties
- Maintain good grooming and personal presentation.
- Adapt to changes in hotel and Food & Beverage operations.
- Follow hotel rules and safety, hygiene, and fire procedures.
- Attend required training and meetings.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Male.
- Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen procedures.
- Able to work well in a team and support colleagues.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physically fit and able to handle kitchen duties.
- Flexible and willing to learn.
- Able to follow instructions and company standards.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Willing to attend training and work assigned schedules.
