As a Waiter in a hospital setting, you will be responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to patients, hospital staff, and visitors. Your role will require adherence to hygiene standards and protocols while ensuring a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver them promptly.
• Assist in preparing patient meal trays according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining and service areas.
• Ensure food safety and proper handling of food items.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate orders and resolve issues.
• Handle special requests or dietary accommodations with sensitivity and attention to detail.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
• Report any issues with meal service or equipment to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience:
  • Prior experience as a waitress, food server, or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is an advantage.
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in accommodating dietary restrictions.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and carry food trays.
  • Capability to perform light lifting tasks as needed.
