Key Responsibilities
1. IFM Electrical Design & Maintenance
- Design, install, and maintain electrical systems within facilities in accordance with Integrated Facility Management (IFM) best practices.
- Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure continuous and efficient operations of electrical systems.
2. Client-Centric Service Delivery
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and facility managers to ensure electrical systems meet operational requirements and IFM standards.
- Respond promptly to electrical issues or outages, minimizing disruption to facility operations.
3. Compliance & Standards
- Ensure all electrical designs and installations comply with Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) regulations, as well as local municipal standards.
- Ensure adherence to Saudi labor laws, safety regulations, and Civil Defense requirements.
4. Energy Efficiency & Sustainability
- Analyze energy consumption and implement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Integrate smart building technologies and IoT solutions to optimize energy and resource utilization.
5. Project Coordination & Execution
- Oversee electrical aspects of IFM projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with client expectations.
- Conduct field inspections, site surveys, and performance evaluations to ensure quality standards are met.
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and compliance reports.
- Prepare technical documentation and progress reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
7. Team Collaboration & Training
- Collaborate with facility management teams, technicians, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and facility management staff.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in electrical engineering within an IFM or facility management environment
- Skills:
- Knowledge of SASO, SEC, IEC, and NFPA standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and ETAP
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Language: Proficient in English
