Job Purpose: To oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensure the quality of food and service, and manage kitchen staff.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
- Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
- Supervise kitchen staff's activities
- Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Qualifications:
- Male or Female
- With a minimum of 3 years solid professional kitchen experience
- Proficient in Western, European, and International cuisines
- Skilled in both hot and cold kitchen preparation
- Experience in à la carte service and/or buffet setups
- Background in casual, semi-fine, fine dining, or hotel kitchens preferred
- College degree in Culinary Arts or related field is an advantage but not required
- Can communicate effectively in English (both spoken and written)
