Responsibilities:

    Lead, supervise, and motivate production teams on the shop floor.
•    Allocate tasks and monitor work performance to ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
•    Train new operators and ensure team members follow operational procedures and safety protocols.
•    Act as the first point of contact for any staff-related issues on shift.

•    Ensure machines and production lines operate efficiently and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
•    Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve equipment or product issues quickly.
•    Maintain clear communication with other shifts and departments to ensure seamless operations.
•    Monitor material usage and ensure raw materials and packaging supplies are adequately available.

•    Promote a strong safety culture and enforce health and safety policies on the shop floor.
•    Report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and assist in investigations when needed.
•    Participate in toolbox talks and ensure safe work practices are followed by all team members.
Reporting & Administration:
•    Complete and maintain accurate shift reports, production logs, and incident reports.
•    Monitor KPIs such as output, yield, downtime, and waste, and escalate variances to supervisors or managers.
•    Recommend process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.

•    Enforce adherence to quality control procedures, company SOPs, GMP, and HACCP standards.
•    Conduct in-process checks and escalate any non-conformances or deviations.
•    Ensure cleanliness and hygiene are maintained in line with food safety and environmental standards.
 


Qualifications:

•    Technical or vocational training a plus.
•    Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a supervisory or lead operator role in manufacturing, preferably within the FMCG or protein/food processing industry.
•    Strong understanding of food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP, etc.).
•    Familiarity with production machinery and automated systems.
•    Experience using production/warehouse software systems (e.g., ERP, MES) is advantageous.
