Job Summary:
The Electronic Engineering Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic systems and equipment used in production and facility operations. The role ensures equipment reliability, minimizes downtime, and supports continuous and safe plant operations.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electronic and electrical equipment.
Troubleshoot faults in electronic circuits, control panels, sensors, and automation systems.
Diagnose issues using test instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal analyzers.
Assist in maintaining PLC-based systems, HMIs, and automation controls.
Support calibration and testing of sensors, transmitters, and electronic instruments.
Coordinate with engineers during commissioning, upgrades, and system modifications.
Qualifications
Holder of a vocational diploma or bachelor’s degree related to the position
Able to operate, monitor, or assist in production machines and processes
Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in large-scale commercial bakeries or food manufacturing companies
