Job Summary:
The Process Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring consistent, efficient, and high-quality production operations through advanced process monitoring, control strategies, and continuous improvement methodologies. This role focuses on optimizing process stability, product quality, safety compliance, and operational efficiency in a food manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Monitor production process performance using control systems (e.g., DCS, PLC, SCADA).
Ensure process variables (temperature, pressure, flow, pH, etc.) remain within target parameters.
Identify deviations and implement corrective actions promptly.
Analyze data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
Develop, test, and implement process control strategies to enhance quality and yield.
Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to refine standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensure compliance with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO) and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Holder of a vocational diploma or bachelor’s degree related to the position
Able to operate, monitor, or assist in production machines and processes
Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in large-scale commercial bakeries or food manufacturing companies
