Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot ELV systems including:
CCTV and surveillance systems
Access control systems (biometric, card readers)
Fire alarm and detection systems
Structured cabling (CAT5/CAT6, fiber optics)
Public Address (PA) and intercom systems
SMATV/IPTV and audio-visual systems
Read and interpret ELV drawings, schematics, and layout plans
Terminate, test, and label cables according to standards
Configure and test system components such as cameras, controllers, sensors, and panels
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on ELV systems
Diagnose faults and carry out system repairs and replacements
Ensure compliance with safety standards, local codes, and client specifications
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other technicians on-site
Prepare basic reports, checklists, and as-built documentation
Qualifications / Skills:
Technical or vocational training in Electronics, Electrical, or related field
Experience in ELV or low-current systems installation and maintenance
Knowledge of CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and structured cabling systems
Ability to use testing tools (multimeter, cable tester, network tester)
Basic networking knowledge is an advantage
Good troubleshooting and communication skills
