Job Overview:

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Swimming Pool Technician to maintain and service the pools at our compound. Your role will be to ensure that the pools are clean, safe, and properly maintained, providing a pleasant swimming experience for all residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Pool Maintenance:

  • Clean and maintain pool areas, including removing debris, checking and adjusting chemical levels, and scrubbing tiles and walls.

  • Inspect and maintain pool equipment such as pumps, filters, and heaters to ensure proper operation.

• Water Testing & Chemical Balance:

  • Regularly test pool water for pH levels, chlorine, and other chemicals.

  • Add the necessary chemicals to keep the water safe and clear.

• Repairs & Troubleshooting:

  • Identify and repair any pool equipment malfunctions or leaks.

  • Handle any urgent maintenance issues that arise with the pool or equipment.

• Safety Checks:

  • Ensure that all safety equipment, including lifeguard stations, pool alarms, and fencing, are in working order.

  • Monitor pool cleanliness and safety standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations.

• Record Keeping:

  • Keep accurate logs of maintenance activities, chemical readings, and any repairs made.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma (or equivalent).

• Experience: Previous experience in pool maintenance or similar role is preferred.

• Skills:

  • Knowledge of pool cleaning equipment, chemicals, and maintenance procedures.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and fix pool-related issues.
