🚛 Job Title: Technician – Auto

Reports To: Assistant Manager – Auto
Segment: In-Flight Catering 
Department: Unit Technical – Auto | 

Job Purpose:

Maintain and repair ramp heavy vehicles (high loaders, garbage trucks, and fleet vehicles) to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on ramp vehicles.

• Respond to urgent breakdowns during ramp operations.

• Diagnose faults and coordinate spare parts requests.

• Manage tools, materials, and stock efficiently.

• Support training and familiarization programs for staff.

• Enforce safety, cybersecurity, and company policies.

• Ensure proper workshop organization, hygiene, and labeling.

• Promote cost efficiency through proper resource use.

• Propose improvements to maintenance systems and procedures.

• Conduct daily reporting and documentation.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Communication:

• Internal: All Unit Technical Departments

• External: None

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma / High School / Field Training Certificate in automotive mechanics

• 3+ years in automotive maintenance (experience in airport vehicles an advantage)

• Knowledge in auto electrical and A/C systems preferred

• Strong English communication skills (Arabic desirable)

• Ability to interpret mechanical diagrams and prepare reports
