Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and driven Account Manager to join our Riyadh-based team. This role is responsible for managing existing customer accounts, driving new business opportunities, aligning with internal delivery and pre-sales teams, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate has experience in IT sales, is client-focused, commercially sharp, and confident navigating B2B buying processes involving procurement, IT, and finance departments.
Key Responsibilities
1. 1. Account Management & Client Relationships:
· Manage and grow assigned accounts by maintaining strong client relationships at multiple levels (IT, procurement, decision-makers).
· Serve as the main point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
· Monitor account health, upcoming renewals, and expansion opportunities.
2. 2. Sales & Revenue Generation:
· Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and margin objectives.
· Identify and pursue new opportunities within existing accounts and targeted prospects.
· Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and tenders aligned with client requirements and procurement processes.
· Follow up on submitted offers and RFPs to drive timely closure and feedback.
3. 3. Market and Product Understanding:
· Maintain a working knowledge of key IT product categories (e.g., infrastructure, networking, PCs, servers, cybersecurity, cloud).
· Understand vendor product positioning and pricing strategies (e.g., HP, Dell, Cisco, Microsoft, etc.).
· Coordinate with pre-sales engineers and product managers to deliver value-based proposals.
4. 4. Project Coordination & Handover:
· Ensure successful order processing, delivery follow-up, and project closeout with internal delivery teams.
· Follow up with customers for GRNs, acceptance forms, and payment coordination where needed.
5. 5. Vendor and Internal Collaboration:
· Align with vendors on pricing, delivery timelines, and opportunity registration when required.
· Work closely with logistics, delivery, and finance teams to ensure smooth operations and issue resolution.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
· 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the IT industry.
· Strong client-facing, communication, and negotiation skills.
· Familiarity with procurement processes in government and enterprise sectors is a plus.
· Basic technical understanding of IT hardware and solutions (e.g., CPU, RAM, SSD, networking, servers).
· Highly organized, target-driven, and proactive in managing priorities.
