Job Purpose / Objective
Maintain his/her assigned area of the Center in a sanitary, orderly, safe and attractive manner at all times.

 

 Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
1 Damp dusting with germicidal/detergent solution, all furnishings, equipment etc.
2 Damp dusting all surfaces.
3 Emptying, cleaning ashtrays and waste bins.
4 Arranging furniture and equipment in an orderly manner.
5 Cleaning with scouring cream, all sinks, baths, showers, etc.
6 Replenishes all hand soap, paper towels and other disposable items.
7 Cleans patient beds on discharge of patient as directed by Head Nurse.
8 Collect the garbage and separate the ordinary garbage from medical garbage.
9 Uses cleaning equipment, cleans and stores tidily.
10 Reports any maintenance problems to housekeeping supervisor
11 Fully adhere to infection prevention and control standards applicable in healthcare facilities, and be familiar with cleaning and sanitation requirements set by accreditation bodies such as CBAHI and JCI, ensuring strict compliance in all daily tasks to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for patients, visitors, and staff
12 Participate in infection control and hospital-grade cleaning training programs when available and actively engage in related awareness initiatives.
13 Perform any applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his knowledge, skills and abilities.

 

 Job Specifications:

Education/ Professional Qualification
1. Preferably High school

2. TESDA Certificate or NC IIl
3 Not exceeding 36 years old and physically

Experience

1. At least 1 years’ experience in the same field. Professional Licensing / Certification / Training
