Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or milling machines.
• · Use Fanuc, Mazak, Haas, Siemens or Heidenhain controls (experience with at least one system required).
• · Interpret technical drawings and machining plans.
• · Plan machining strategy including order of operations and tooling.
• · Perform accurate measurements and ensure proper fixturing of workpieces.
• · Work with various materials, primarily cast iron castings.
• · Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality machining outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC machining (CNC lathe and/or CNC milling).
• · Ability to read and interpret technical drawings independently
• · Experience with Fanuc, Mazak, or similar control systems (e.g., Haas, Siemens, Heidenhain).
• · Understanding of machining processes and ability to plan machining strategies.
• · Competence in measuring and fixturing techniques.
• · Independent and proactive working attitude.
• · Good English skills for communication and understanding instructions.
• · High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational or technical training in machining is considered an advantage.
