Job Purpose:
To prepare and cook dishes in accordance with established recipes and international standards, ensuring exceptional quality, consistency, and presentation across various restaurant and hotel settings in Finland, ranging from casual to fine dining.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes according to recipes and plating standards
- Ensure food quality, flavor, and presentation meet high culinary standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory control, and support ordering processes
- Comply with strict food safety and sanitation regulations (HACCP or equivalent)
- Work closely with the kitchen team to deliver efficient and smooth service
Qualifications:
- At least high school graduate with a minimum of 3 years solid professional kitchen experience
- Proficient in Western, European, and International cuisines
- Skilled in both hot and cold kitchen preparation
- Experience in à la carte service and/or buffet setups
- Background in casual, semi-fine, fine dining, or hotel kitchens preferred
- College degree in Culinary Arts or related field is an advantage but not required
