SCOPE:
Plans, organises, directs, controls and coordinates the financial and accounting activities of an organisation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
•Maintain records to enable the production of daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports as required by the directors.
•Preparation of management and statutory financial accounts.
•Supervision of accounts staff in the preparation of cash books, debtors, and creditors.
•Maintain daily cash flow forecasts.
•Oversight and preparation of payments to creditors and other suppliers.
•Tax planning and compliance with government regulations.
•Liaison with company engineers regarding contract cash flow, profit/loss and forward planning.
•Training of national staff.
•Supervision of payroll preparation.
•Maintain appropriate records and preparation of the Expatriate payroll each fortnight.
•Liaising with the company’s bank to ensure a smooth relationship is maintained.
•Supervision of all insurance requirements for the company’s assets and contracts.
•Prepare supplier credit applications.
•Liaise with external partners such as Accountants, Tax Agents, Insurance brokers, Finance Companies as necessary.
•Other duties as directed by Managing Director.

QUALIFICATIONS:
•Graduate of BS Accountancy
•Preferably CPA
•Holding a managerial position in the last five (5) years
•Proficient in MYOB or other similar Accounting Software
•The ability to work to strict time constraints
•Capable of training subordinates for future succession
