Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve assigned sales and income targets.
- Prepare and submit annual sales and profit forecasts.
- Provide regular sales reports and activity plans to the Department Manager.
- Conduct regular customer visits and maintain strong client relationship.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Offer technical and commercial support, including product demonstrations and seminars.
- Identify new customers and business opportunities.
- Coordinate technical support and product sampling through to commercialization.
- Monitor customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity.
- Suggest strategic responses and adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
- Manage product inventory using MRP systems to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Attend project meetings and ensure smooth sales handovers.
- Monitor customer collections to ensure adherence to credit terms.
- Report any potential bad debts to management.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, audit outcomes, and fair business practices.
- Oversee team compliance and provide documentation as needed.
- Adhere to Environment, Health and Safety policies.
- Participate in EHS programs and ensure compliance in dealings with customers, supplies, and contractors.
- Ensure clients follow company processes and guidelines for business transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales.
- With a strong background in selling bakery or baking ingredients.
- 5 years of sales and marketing experience in the food ingredients industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP C4C.
- Strong sales acumen and self-motivated mindset.
- Strong decision-making, leadership, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Effective relationship building and networking skills.
- Proven ability to develop product knowledge and manage budgeting/reporting tasks.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong commercial focus.
- Adaptable to change while upholding ethical standards and company values.
- Excellent in written and verbal communication skills.
