General


1- Perform / Leads Auto Hydraulic Mechanic and Auto Mechanic in maintaining the fleet of High loaders, and Garbage trucks for efficient running condition and standard of serviceability.
2- Respond to very high priority job such as breakdown of vehicles whilst in Ramp operation, i.e.; servicing and stuck on an aircraft or stranded on aircraft taxiways.
3- Assist Mechanics in diagnosing malfunction of a vehicle, review its cause and make decision on what's the first appropriate step to carry out repair works.
4- Follow-up with Sr. Supervisor or in cooperation with Purchasing Department or Technical Store, any spare parts or material purchasing requirements.
5- Generate & maintain stocks of common materials & spare parts (i.e. oils, grease, spark plugs, etc.) but emphasize cost reduction program and store at the minimal level.
6- Maintain and arrange storage areas of tires, new or surplus mechanical or electrical parts, common materials, tools/equipment to a system that would provide accessibility for withdrawal.
7- Assist Supervisor in conducting familiarization program for Saudi Nationals and new hired staff including staff outside the Department (if required) and this inclusive of introducing staff on the existing policy and procedure, acquainting on the usage of tools and equipment, and familiarization on the various types of vehicles maintained in the workshop.
8- Ensures overall compliance and implement duly established company policies and procedures to and among staff, is an industrial safety practice in the workshop and working areas agronomics of work flow by proper utilization of signs (i.e. sorry for inconvenience / under repairs / awaiting spare parts etc...).
9- Submission of daily report concerning daily achievement
10- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
11- Perform other duties related to the job and/or the operation of the company, in accordance with the regulations of the Saudi Labor of Law. Adherence to Cybersecurity policies and procedures.
12- Dealing with data and information according to their level of classification.
13- Avoid violating the rights of any person or company protected by copyrights, patents, or any other intellectual property, or similar laws or regulations.
14- Compliance with Cybersecurity requirements related to the protection of user devices, Internet, software, systems, and Email requirements.
15- Adhere to the acceptable use policy and Using SACC information and technical assets only for business purposes.
16- Obtaining the required permit from the security department or the owner of the authority in SACC before hosting visitors in the company's specific sensitive sites

17- Reporting Cybersecurity incidents.


Economy and control
18- Ensure proper utilization of tools and equipment while working in the workshop and other working areas (i.e.; breakdown scene).
19- Plan and prepare tools and material requirements before attending call out to ensure that man-hour consumption is reduced.
20- Encourage cost consciousness among staff by cross-utilization of still usable parts and materials, cross utilization of manpower, etc.
21- Propose/recommend programs and procedure to upgrade the current working system for preventive maintenance and repair of the vehicles' fleet.

 

Hygiene & quality
22- Maintain and monitor high standard of cleaning and sanitation in the office and workshop areas as well as in the working areas by proper disposal of used materials, scrapped mechanical or electrical parts.
23- Maintain and organize storing areas for common equipment, spare parts and materials, and assignment of proper labels for classification and identification purposes.

 

Personnel & training
24- Initiate and prepare familiarization program for Saudi Nationals and newly hired staff including staff outside the Department (if required).
25- Recommend staff for On Job Training (OJT) with local supplier, and workshops for specialized training on maintenance related courses.
26- Follow on the screening and trade testing of employment candidates and newly hired SV Equipment Mechanic.

 

Development
27- Review and make proposals / suggestions to improve existing procedures and work control in the workshop.
28- Review and submit report on beyond economical repair status of equipment for management's review, upgrading and replacement.

 

Authority
29- Access to Technical Store records and withdrawal of spare parts.
30- Driving any vehicle off site for periodic inspection, as and when required.
31- Access to Technical Library (following the system).

 

Minimum Requirements for The Job: Qualifications
-Diploma / High School / Field Training Certificate in automotive mechanics.
-Completion of a recognized training, courses and seminars related to auto maintenance specializing in any of the following: auto refrigeration and air-conditioning, hydraulic, or auto electricity is desirable. Years and Nature of Experience
-3 Years minimum experience in automotive maintenance preferably on trucks, buses, cars of assorted brand names/models. Experience on airport staff, passenger, and food lifting vehicles is an advantage.
-Technical knowledge in auto electrical system and air-conditioning is an advantage.
