Responsibilities

• Direct and perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all generator plant to minimize disruption and enhance safety.
• Troubleshoot, direct and perform emergency rapid breakdown repairs to minimize downtime to the highest standards.
• Schedule regular preventative maintenance on all plant to enhance longevity and minimise downtime of plant.
• Manage, source and maintain security over inventories of spare parts and consumables.
• Supervise and perform the installation and commissioning of new plant.
• Manage, supervise, train and discipline maintenance staff.

Qualifications

• Complete and thorough knowledge of generator plant to 700kva
• Recognised qualifications and training required.
• Mature with leadership qualities.
• Organised, responsible sober work habits.
• Relevant mechanical engineering trade qualifications for standby generator plant to 750kva
