Job Purpose: To perform assigned operational tasks accross one or more defined operator roles within the respective Operations Center, adhering to established policies, procedures and standards to ensure that work is completed to plan and supports the achievement of R

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain utility systems and equipment.
• Monitor system performance and make adjustments as needed.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance.
• Respond to emergencies and system failures.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Ensure timely escalation of any issues/problems to the Shift Supervisor in order to support in timely corrective action.

Qualifications:

• Female
• At least 5'2" or 157 cm. height
• At least High school graduate
• Basic understanding of utility systems in alumina refinery operating facility
• Physical fitness and ability to work within plant work conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.

Job Skills:

• Knowledge/experience of lean principles and tools.
• Knowledge of continous process operations.
• Understanding of safety, quality and environmental management and control procedures.
• Work under pressure with discretion, reliability and accuracy.
• Basic troubleshooting ability and problem-solving skills.
