JOB DESCRIPTION
The Key Accounts Manager plays a crucial role in our business by providing direction and structure for Key Accounts across PNG. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, and working closely with the Sales Managers, the incumbent will plan, analyse, negotiate, control and manage these Key Account customers to ensure optimum profitability & sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development, analysis, implementation, negotiation and management of the customer and promotional plans that best achieve volume and NSV budgets by brand, product and customer
- Develop and implement long term strategies to meet future customer requirements
- Achieve ranging & distribution of key brand & products
- Provide recommendations to business regarding market dynamics, insights, competitor activity, customer performance, opportunities to improve overall business outcomes
- Liaise with Brand Management team to develop account specific plans
- Prepare various monthly reports & share with respective managers
JOB REQUIREMENTS
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business is preferable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Strong financial management skills
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Customer management experience
- Previous experience working in FMCG sales
- Experience in managing people/teams
- Current drivers’ licence is preferable
