Job Title: Mobile Crane Operator (Oil & Gas Industry)
Job Summary: The Mobile Crane Operator is responsible for operating mobile cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment within Oil & Gas industry projects, ensuring safety and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Crane Operation: Operate mobile cranes to lift and transport materials to specified locations.
- Load Management: Calculate load weights and ensure safe lifting capacities are not exceeded.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communication: Coordinate with riggers and ground crew via radio and signals to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on crane equipment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of crane operations and equipment inspections.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience operating mobile cranes, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Certifications: Crane operator certification (NCCCO or equivalent) and relevant safety certifications.
- Skills: Proficient in crane operation, load calculations, and safety regulations; excellent hand-eye coordination and communication skills; physically fit.
Work Environment:
- Work performed in outdoor construction sites with exposure to varying weather conditions and potential hazards.
- Requires physical stamina for extended periods of operation.
