Summary of Position Role/Responsibilities
The Candidate Success Specialist I supports Avant’s mission of changing lives by working with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) in the deferred pipeline to nurture their reapplication to the Avant Healthcare Program. This role will utilize internal reports and databases to review data and identify previous applicants that may be eligible for reconsideration. This role will report to the Recruitment Manager and will actively collaborate with the Global Recruitment, Recruitment Marketing, Global Growth, and Global Business teams in pursuit of developing and nurturing qualified reapplications from the deferred pipeline and as well as other Global Recruitment objectives.
Essential Functions of the Job
- Create, run, and review reports to identify former applicants in the deferred pipeline who may be eligible for reconsideration
- Meet individual, departmental and teams’ KPIs
- Communicate at a high volume with HCPs through a variety of means including cold calls, scheduled calls, email, video calls, text, social media, presentations, etc. to nurture their reapplication
- Coach HCPs on the changes they can make to become eligible for the program and work with them to develop a plan to implement the needed changes
- Proactively follow-up with HCPs regarding their plans, track their progress, and enthusiastically coach them towards goals
- Conduct prescreen evaluations of deferred pipeline candidates to determine their current eligibility
- Track and follow-up on deferred pipeline reapplications to move them forward through the recruitment process
- Document communications, assessments, and coaching plans in internal database
- Establish appropriate internal processes and procedures to support deferred pipeline initiatives
- Propose new and creative approaches to engage deferred pipeline candidates
- Collaborate with Recruitment Marketing and Global Recruitment to generate content and other marketing materials for deferred pipeline initiatives
- Generate regular reports regarding the deferred pipeline and performance metrics to provide insights and support decision-making processes
- Respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues arising in the recruitment process. Escalate issues as needed to the Clinical Pre-Assessment Manager
- Attend and assist with the coordination of international recruitment trips, as needed
- Assist in processing inquiries and applications during high volume periods
- Share, learn, and collaborate with team members and manager to develop strategies, improve execution, and generate ideas that drive great team results and success
Qualifications
Education, Training, and Experience
- High school degree or equivalent required, Associate’s degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Exceptional communication (written and spoken), problem-solving, critical thinking, time management, active listening, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to effectively coach, motivate, and inspire others to work towards established goals
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to utilize reports and data to identify target audiences, formulate value propositions, and creatively develop and lead effective outreach initiatives
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), communication platforms (WhatsApp, Viber, etc.), and electronic database management
