Position Purpose
The role of the HR Manager is to manage the human resource unit of the organization and assist on the Accounts Department. The Human Resource unit is concerned with four broad program areas.
1. The monitoring of the organization’s strategic plan which involves support and mentoring of staff to address their program goals and organizational directives.
2. The implementation of the payroll system and contractual arrangements.
3. Organizational development, which incorporates cultural development; recruitment, selection and induction; the development of position descriptions; performance review; staff training and development and staff support and mentoring.
4. Industrial relations, incorporating the implementation of the organization’s Standard Operating Procedures [SOP] and its compliance to the PNG Labor Laws; and the establishment of a job classifications and salary grading system.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 5 Years of working experience is required.
• Candidate must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in HR/Finance/Accountancy/Business Administration/Management or similar fields.
• Experience in a senior management position.
• Experience in supervising or mentoring staff
