• Capacity to read drawings and blueprint
• Minimum of computer knowledge
• Good knowledge of different types of steel
• Capacity to read work order
• Assure the quality of the finished product
• Sort parts to separate those that go to bedding, milling, and/or welding
• Ability to handle heavy parts manually or using semi-automated equipment
• Knowledge of how cutting machines work (Amada)
• Good knowledge of G code
• Good aptitude on programing
